Geometry and Form:
Expressions through Architectural Design Elements & Principles
We were required to explore basic understandings of the architectural design elements and principles, processes, and approaches in generating ideas, developing design through creating geometric 2D artworks and transform them into 3D form, from tattoo stamps to models.
Parts 1-3
We were required to start off by creating a geometric stamp or tattoo stamps by deciding on a selection of architectural design elements and principles which will later be transformed into a 3D model.
Parts 4 & 5
We then had to choose an artwork from part 3 and transform it into 6 different #D models while maintaining the elements and principles from part 3. Then we had to create 3D models based on one artwork from part 3 and create 12 models in 3 types ( cube, sculpture, skeleton )
Part 6
We then took one model or two models merged from part 5 and refined it into 3 models that best represent a given descriptive word.
